What is Elbows?
Elbows is a collection of great music blog posts and is meant to provide you a snapshot of what’s going on in the music world today. Every hour, our crawler reads thousands of music blog posts, pulling out relevant information like artist names, song titles, video embeds and more. Then, we group and rank this data to provide you with a cutting edge look into the most influential music fans are listening to. Discover your next favorite artist or song on Elbows.
One very important point is, we do not create original content. This means we don’t choose what’s posted or what shows up on our hot lists, we can’t put a song or video on the site that is emailed to us. The site is set up to pull in content from people with actual musical taste. We’re just music fans and we use the site the same way most music fans do. As of today, we do not editorialize. This may change in the future, but we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it.
How do I use it?
Well, that depends on who you are and what you’re into. Everyone has different needs, but we’ve grouped our audience into 3 groups:
